My website must include (check all that apply):

Things relating to my resume:

= important solo and group exhibits
= awards I have won
= publications my work has appeared in
= collections my work appears in
= my art training

Where to see my work 'in person':

= my exhibit schedule
= galleries my work appears in
= other ___________________________

About Me:

= my medium, which is ________________________
= my artist statement - what inspires and motivates me
= explanations of my medium, techniques, etc. that allow the visitor to more fully understand why my work is unique:
    __________________________________________
= my picture
= how to contact me

email _________________________

phone _________________________

What I have to offer:

= a gallery of my work

= with prices (current work, additional site
         upkeep - consider a blog)

= without prices (a 'brochure' of my best
         work)
= products that I have for sale:
= less than 5 different products
= more than 5 different products (shopping
         cart)

= schedule of classes that I teach
= signup and payment for classes that I
         teach
= Other:  ___________________________________

Lead-capture and list-building:

=  I want to collect visitor information for my mailing list and I plan to contact them by (check all that apply):

 = email (choose one):

= managed manually - small list

= autoresponder - large list (over 200)

 = postal mail

Many artists have both a static website as their online brochure and a blog for current work. If they want to sell work online, they often do it through their blog. Blogs, when focused, attract organic search engine traffic and fit well with social media marketing.

= I want a blog to go along with my website
= I want a blog instead of a website (so I need a gallery of thumbnails on my blog)

For marketing purposes, I want to include the appropriate buttons for these social media sites:

= Facebook
= Twitter
= LinkedIn
= Other: ______________________________

Once the website's look and branding is established I'll also need matching:

= business cards
= stationery
= other printed material: ___________________________________

= Facebook fan page
= Twitter background
= icon for use on social media sites
= other website graphics:
___________________________________

Anything else? Maybe you teach art classes and want to include the schedule, or you work as an art consultant and want to mention that. List anything else that applies to your art business here, but do keep the emphasis of your artist website on your art. Consider a second site if you need a place to emphasize your art instructor business or another art-related business you engage in.
